Four Fill-in Fun!

Good morning! (I'm going to keep telling myself that until it comes true!)

1. If I could meet one person living or dead, I would want to meet my maternal grandfather.  He died in World War 2.

2. I find it hard to concentrate when I've got a lot on my mind.

3. The last time I went to the mall and shopped I got a mocha something at the book store and then proceeded to bounce off the walls.

4. Where are the fly swatters and sprays when the bugs are here. Sorry, I have serious issues with insects.

  1. I was so fortunate to have had my maternal grandparents for a very big portion of my life. but I do not know my paternal side at all -- my dad left when I was very young. It would be interesting to see if I am like them at all.

I can never find the fly swatter when I need it. That's what the bottom of slippers are for I guess.

    1. I grew up with only my paternal grandmother, and she died when I was about 13 I think. My paternal grandfather died when I was very young so I have no memory of him. I never knew my maternal grandparents. My mom had a step father and he died when I was young as well, but I didn't know until later that that's who he was. I was too young to understand at the time. I love learning about my family tree!

  2. Yeah, insects can be a bit of an issue. I carry around the Off everywhere we go. Mosquitoes are so no fun.

    1. My fly swatter looks like it has been through a war... I am a very violent swatter, but I have a very good kill record. Gross thing to be proud of!

  3. I wish I knew my Grandparents, I totally understand that wish. I almost did the fly swatter one, that is weird but I agree, I am forever using the newspaper or magazine LOL. I laughed about the coffee, that cracked me up.

    1. If my fly swatter isn't close, I use anything I can get my hands on! A shoe, magazine, book, etc... I usually throw things at the bugs if I have to get too close.

    1. A maternal grandparent is on your mom's side, a paternal grandparent is on your dad's side. :)
